I don't know if the other reviews are just from angry individuals, or if they somehow misinterpreted their experience with Dr. Butki, but I can say with absolute certainty that the man definitely knows his stuff and was quite personable. If there is any lack of perceived compassion it is the patient's ill conceived notion of a lack of empathy due to the nature of the ER. Physicians in this setting are not your primary doctors, the ER is a different world than a family practice.
