Dr. Okoye is amazing, she listens to your concerns and explains every aspect completely and repeats every detail if you need it re-explained so you know exactly what you need to know about your situation and can participate in your healthcare plan. She is very knowledgeable and consistent following up on your situation and care. I have been very blessed to find her. I have had scar tissue blocking my esophagus due to Barrett’s Esophagus disease. The gastroenterologist was not able to stretch the scar tissue or even get a pediatric size instrument into my esophagus resulting in malnutrition, losing 40 lbs in 2 months. Requiring extensive surgery to repair my esophagus to live. I have to rebuild my strength, my nutrition level, immune system and body weight just to survive the surgery. Dr. Okoye is overseeing every aspect of this process. I owe her my life. If not for her dedication and willingness to help me I wouldn’t be here today. Thank you for being the person & doctor you are!
