Dr. Ahmad saved me from the jaws of death. Literally, an IVC filter in place for 18 years, now broken and throwing clots. Dr Amad is an exceptional SUPER surgeon and a remarkable human being. He valued my life as he would his own and I am grateful. I thank you and the IR team from the bottom of my heart. I am 10 days out and I am so thankful to be alive. I had visted two ERs in NJ, on my second ER visit I was told the IVC filter broke. I googled and found Dr Ahmad, the ONLY Specialist in the area that was able to remove my 18 year old filter. I arrived at NY Columbia ER thinking its a long shot. I laid in the ER stretcher waiting to die, as my mind drifted I felt a nudge, when I opened my eyes it was Dr Ahmad and his student. He said, I heard about your case and I am confident I can help you. This was the first encounter that was easy for me. After 3 ERs hustling for my life. I was tired. He said I have an opening and will take you today. Thank you! You saved me!
