My mom had polio when she was 15-18. As she grew it affected her spine and became so bad that she was bent over at a 35 degree angle. We searched the globe for a Dr. to perform spinal reconstructive surgery, but because of her age, NO doctor would touch her. That is until we met Dr. Boachie. He performed the most amazing spinal reconstruction surgery, going in from the front and back to rebuild her spine. My mom wore a back brace for nearly two years after but was able to finally stand up straight again. We are from Texas and moved to New York so that my mom could have surgery at the HSS. It was expensive but nonetheless, necessary. Dr. Boachie saved my moms life and performed the surgery when no other Dr would. God bless you for extending her life. Continue your amazing work,
