A very caring and skilled surgeon, she & her team basically saved my life, she took the time to explain my complicated surgery & prognosis to my wife w/ great care & gave us the time to ask questions and process the info, did not rush us, she is both very skilled & has a great bedside manner so glad she was my primary surgeon lucked out that she was on call that long night I ended up in ER w/ multiple intra abdominal abscesses & necrotic tissue, not sure I’d be here if I hadn’t had that emergency laparotomy. This was no easy surgery, the intra-operative findings did not really match the pre-op CT & required the surgeon to adapt & respond to the unusual/unexpected findings including I&D of multiple abscesses in at least 3 different anatomical spaces, hand washing of large & small intestines & air leak I&D of nodular defects on omentum, cholecystectomy, multiple tissue bx's, placement of 2 drains among other procedures. Very grateful for her skill, kindness & humanity.
