I am appalled at anyone saying that Dr Omar Awad is uncaring and doesn’t listen to the patient. I have been his patient for several years and find him to be a wonderful listener and offering his pulmonary expertise in helping his patients. He takes his time to go over your test results and shows you your Xrays and explains every detail and asks if you have any further questions, He asks about your medications refills and shows interest in your well-being . He is a great physician who goes beyond the expected. He wants to make all his patients well and be able to live a quality life even though my lungs are very bad and I have COPD. He is proactive in helping you have the best life you can have- watches carefully to see that you haven’t developed a more severe condition. He is the best and I recommend him to all my friends because he is truly a doctor who cares in a busy practice - yet never is too busy to ask “ What more can I do for you”. He is the best doctor I have ever had.
