Patient Reviews
Dec 31, 2024
Dr. Fraij started his hospitalist shift (MUSC Columbia, SC) at the same time that we had been trying to get a nurse’s attention and help with my dad’s chest pain. We knew he was having a heart attack and our unit nurses were checked out on the situation. Dr Fraij came on the scene and immediately saw the emergency. He procured an xray, EKG, and more —- in addition to calling the rapid response team. Nitroglycerin was administered quickly. He has sharp instincts and oversaw a very serious situation with calm and friendliness. He then went the extra mile to help us move my dad to a more attentive nursing situation on the 4th floor. (Avoid 5th floor Tower at all costs!) I hope that Dr. Fraij continues to be aggressively protective of his patients, like he was for us. My dad would have died under the 5th floor nurses’s care (Latoya) if his family wasn’t there. Bravo, Dr. Fraij!! We are forever grateful to you.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
