Patient Reviews
Sep 22, 2023
Today, due to unusual traffic, I arrived 5 minutes late to an appointment. Twenty minutes later, after watching the receptionist jabber to two others for that length of time, I reached her window. She told me that I would now be charged for my 'more than 15 minutes tardiness' (caused by her actions alone), and that, in any case. my doctor would not be in that day. (The practice had failed to notify me that the doctor would not to be in, leaving me no message - either by voice or by text.) The practice does not accept phone calls 12-1 each day, i.e., during the only time one could reasonably expect to reach them. Furthermore, they apparently will not accept text messages, and one must wait interminably before anyone will pick up the phone. I have had to abandon several such attempts. While I have enjoyed Dr. Omar Bakr very much, life is too short to deal with idiots like these. I strongly suggest that, like me, you look for another practice!
