I'm so happy to know that my dear Dr. Wiltz is back to practice in the United States. Back in 2008 I had a devastating case of Chron's that merciless took over my colon in 2 months. I was so fortunate to meet Dr. Wiltz at Virginia Hospital Center, who performed the total colectomy with ileostomy surgery on me. My health before the surgery was so debilitated that my friends feared I could not resist such surgery. The caring and professionalism of Dr. Wiltz on my case helped me so much to believe that was still hope for me to survive this surgery. I will be always grateful to Dr. Wiltz for that.15 years later, I'm healthy, physically well fit, enjoying my life thanks to the amazingly well performed surgery. As a note, recently I had to do a CT of my abdomen and pelvis because of an inguinal hernia. When the John Hopkins surgeon got to see me on the results of the CT, he mention to me 'Whoever was the total colectomy with ileostomy surgeon, I have to say, he did a beautiful job'
