A physician can truly make or break your future. One who listens or doesn't, has the quality of your life in the palm of their hands. As a teen I knew I had a movement disorder. Not one physician would listen to me & I spent 20 long years trying to get an answer. But I know my own body well. I even managed to diagnose my son. When I took him to Lurie his MDS was astonished I could spot what is currently 'very slight movement & posturing'. Understandably it is very hard for me to trust physicians. Despite Dr. Vittal's undeniable brilliance, she is easy to talk to & has excellent bedside manner. She is incredibly precise & laser focused. You can see that she loves her patients & wants to improve lives. I could not have found a better MDS. I'm overwhelmingly grateful to her. Blessed to call her my physician. This condition is excruciating. Having some relief is everything. I couldn't recommend her enough. If you are lucky enough to get her, cherish this treasure of a physician.
