Our daughter went through the eating disorder program last year under Dr. Lockhart’s care. We found Dr. Lockhart to be spot on—she is extremely skilled at seeing the root of an issue, and is articulate about what she sees. She gives deeply wise counsel. Some things were humbling to hear, but in hindsight were completely essential at the time, and accurate. She helped us pull out of a terrifying time and adjust some things we needed to do better. She is kind and patient. She expects people that come to her for assistance to do their work, which truly is the way to create positive change in your life. Dr. Lockhart helped us learn that if we tried to make things “cushy”, we were robbing our daughter of developing the coping skills she would need to recover. She needed to do her own work. Without Lockhart’s steady advice, support, and encouragement, I feel certain our daughter would still be plagued with her eating disorder. She is now thriving and happy, she has her life back.
