I'd brought my son to the ER at St.Francis Hospital. ERs are typically crowded and chaotic places, and this was no exception. After passing through a check in station my son and I settled in, expecting a long wait. To my surprise, within a few minutes we were approached by Dr. Phan who introduced herself and confirmed the check-in assessment. She had a pleasant, focused, and professional demeanor, and within a few minutes she'd asked a series of questions on his symptoms and medical history, completed an exam and explained that she was ordering a test to confirm the diagnosis.Less than an hour later she had the lab results and a confirmed diagnosis, we had a prescription and discharge orders, and four days later my son was symptom free. I'm very grateful for the quality and effectiveness of Dr. Phan's care.
