I generally don't like to see male doctors these days (too much mansplaining and they often dismiss women's issues) but it's hard to find a female ENT in my small town, so I booked with Dr. Shinners . But I needn't have worried, Dr. Shinners was very nice, respectful, and listened to all my concerns. He even taught me something I wasn't aware of: increased estrogen from HRT can cause extra mucous. Which might explain why I seem to be clearing my throat more often lately. And when he explains stuff he uses JAZZ HANDS! I recommend him!
