Dr. Chery was wonderful. He is obviously very popular in the hospital, and had a knack for putting everyone on the team at ease, which made for a pleasant surgery experience. Even as he was going about the paperwork, he managed to answer questions that led to an interesting and thought-provoking conversation about care. The surgery was painless and I had no side effects from the anesthesia. When I woke up from surgery, I immediately remembered with some embarrassment that I had started chatting just as I went under anesthesia. Dr. Chery was right there as I came to, and his comment, "Thank you for sharing," was both very funny and the exact right thing to say. If I had another surgery I would go out of my way to request him. Thank you, Dr. Chery.
