Today I got to be on the other side of medicine, the patient. While on spring break I found a small lump on the side of abdomen. I immediately went where every super logical and knowledgable person would go, Cancer. I couldn’t sleep, I mean without me how would my hubby find our kids school. When I got home I did pull a string and called a wonderful surgeon, Dr. Manookian, who within seconds put my mind at ease, much as he reminded me that I do for my tiny patient’s families. Well today I had my little benign lipoma taken out! I had my initial consultation with Dr. Manookian a few weeks ago and he very clearly gave me my options but he was so good at reading me and knew that I probably just wanted it out. His MA, Angelina was wonderful and got me scheduled. I’m still numb so can’t speak to the pain but besides the colored glue you can’t even tell I have a scar line there. So anyone looking for a high quality general surgeon who truly cares about his patients hit up Dr. Manook
