I used to work in an ER and Dr. Abbey was was on staff there. I have seen some severe hand injuries come into the ER, and Dr. Abbey did a fantastic job. He always explained to patients their options and what he recommended. He took care of one of my family members several years ago, and they had a great outcome. We had a patient that injured his hand at work, and his injury was called a degloving. Dr. Abbey did an outstanding job in putting the man's hand back together. If I ever had a hand injury, I would want Dr. Abbey to work on my hand, and if anyone asked me what hand surgeon to go to, it would be Dr. Abbey. I have been present with Dr. Abbey repairing a hand injury, and he was always professional.
