Dr. Aridgides is absolutely wonderful. He is incredibly compassionate, and treats one like a human being and not just a patient. I am recovering from advanced cancer, and he has taken the time to patiently discuss my condition and treatment and never made me feel like he was in a hurry or that my questions were annoying. I feel like he knows me and cares that I recover; never have I felt like he was just doing his job. Not only that, but he created a treatment plan that was meticulous and effective! I am almost fully recovered! His attitude was hopeful the whole way through, even at the beginning when the situation was not very hopeful. Dr. Aridgides's compassion and positive attitude is evident in his interns and residents, as well as his entire staff of nurses, radiation techs, and receptionists. I would highly recommend the Upstate Cancer Center, with Dr. Aridgides in particular, to anyone who is deciding where to go for treatment.
