I had severe pain in my back for a number of years. My sister had severe back issues and had surgery with Dr. Marcotte. She had excellent results, and is now pain-free. I decided to have Dr. Marcotte operate on me also. He did an incredible job. I have no more back or leg pain and I was able to resume a normal schedule after just 6 weeks. I can't recommend Dr. Marcotte highly enough. In addition to doing a great job, Dr. Marcotte is a modest, low-key person who would only do surgery if it was absolutely necessary. His office staff was also great. They were efficient, responsive and very pleasant to work with. The facilities at the University of Pennsylvania were very comfortable.
