Patient Reviews

As a senior citizen who loves to walk with friends, when my feet started hurting - especially one of them on the bottom, a first - I asked my kids - we (humble Mom brag) have ' a few' physicians in our family - for a recommendation. Our oldest son immediately reached out to a former med school classmate - Dr. Paul Switaj - who said he could see me. From the moment I was in the office in Reston, I was treated with kindness and smiles. Everyone was so lovely. Dr. Switaj listened, examined, and offered his expert diagnosis and suggestions for treatment at this stage. I really loved his honest and conservative approach at this point and felt that with his suggestions I would be back walking 'briskly' - haha for a woman in her 70s! - very soon at my beloved Ida Lee Park. I left his office feeling very confident and hopeful. That's such a nice way to leave a medical appointment. Grateful I can write this. If anything is bothering you about your feet, see Dr. Switaj first. :) Thank you.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
