I first met Dr. O'Boynick at KUMED in 2002 when I was diagnosed with an aneurysm. It had been a horrible process with the Neurologist I was seeing and I appreciated the fact that he was quick and to-the-point. After getting to know him he is very courteous and kind. I had long hair and was upset about having to have it shaved off. He not only did the best job of only shaving what was absolutely necessary (I'm sure it made his job harder) but he even joked with me about it. Flash forward several years, I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and was pretty much bed ridden with symptoms. My then Neurologist wanted to treat me with medication. I sought out Dr. O'Boynick, without a referral, and he had me in for an appointment within a week & scheduled for decompression surgery within 2 weeks. Although Chiari is not curable, I still to this day am so much better. Dr. O'Boynick will forever be my hero and God forbid I ever need a 3rd brain surgery, I just pray he hasn't retired!!
