I cannot recommend Dr. Helft highly enough. He was wonderful! He is also an ethicist, which means he involves you in all decisions. My cousin, a nurse whose last position was writing position papers on cancer research, asked fellow oncology nurses for a referral, and they recommended him. At my first meeting, he invited all members of my family, brought in all his staff, and talked with us for about 2 1/2 hours, explaining everything that would happen. We also met before each treatment.
