Dr. Mashburn put a port in for my chemo treatments a couple of years ago, and everything went fabulously. This past summer, I ended up being taken to the hospital because I had sepsis and didn't know it. By chance, she was on call. She had to do two surgeries to get me on the mend. I was in ICU for a week, and once I was finally brought out of the anesthesia and found out all that happened, I was so thankful for her being my surgeon. She went above and beyond in my eyes.
