Today was my first visit with Dr. P. I’ve had several colonoscopies performed by several different doctors in the past (all extremely painful). I’m just one of the few who experience much pain and am a huge coward. Since my mom passed of a genetic form of colon cancer and I have had polyps, I need to have this procedure every three years. Last year I cancelled because I absolutely DREADED it so. Today I was just about in tears, but mustered up the courage to go bc in the back of my mind I could still hear my mom’s voice saying, “I wish I had gone six months earlier.” The whole team was EXTREMELY kind and compassionate and this was my first time EVER experiencing ZERO pain. I will be back and I will be on time the next visit. I cannot thank you enough for the care and compassion I felt from this entire team. I highly recommend.
