Patient Reviews
Mar 11, 2021
I was referred to Dr Kim by Dr Pasupuleti regarding a bad aortic valve which needed to be replaced. Dr Kim ordered additional preliminary tests, met with me on Tuesday February 9th, explained all of the options as well as the recommended procedure, then completed the open heart procedure at Citrus Memorial two days later. The procedure went perfectly, followed by two days in ICU and 3 days in the cardiac care unit, both of which were staffed with capable and compassionate nurses and support staff. Dr Kim visited me daily at the hospital and continued to monitor my progress with phone calls after my release. I had a two week follow-up at his office as well as a four week follow-up at his office. The surgery and recovery went perfectly, with no complications, and I have been cleared for cardiac rehab at six to eight weeks. We are truly lucky to have cardiologists such as Dr Pasupuleti and cardiac surgeons as great as Dr Kim in Citrus County.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
