My husband, Mark, was seen by Dr. Vasiu, in an initial visit on October 17, 2024. I am Mark's wife, and I am a retired R.N. I personally was very impressed with Dr. Vasiu's knowledge, skill in examining my husband, and in explaining results of x-rays taken. Dr. Vasiu also impressed me as someone who is truly compassionate, and patient-focused, because when my husband tried to refuse a soft back brace, and he also refused a follow-up visit, Dr. Vasiu swept back into the room, and asked if there 'was anything that he had not explained well,' or that we still had questions about. That did it! My husband agreed to the back brace, and also the follow-up visit, which he badly needed, because he has 'severe osteoarthritis,' in both hips. Dr. Vasiu also recommended conservative measures, i.e. 2 prescription medications, and the back brace, which my husband and I both very much appreciated. Dr. Vasiu did not immediately recommend surgery! WOW! I would rate this visit as 5 stars, for sure!
