I had to put off my scheduled tethered cord surgery due to an infection secondary to COVID. I had my surgical consultation with Dr Klinge. She is very focused in her work. Her clinical exam and imaging interpretation were both super specific to tethered cord. She picked up on some things I never knew about my spine. I learned I have an extra lumbar vertebra. I also have a lumbar vertebra that is functionally part of my sacrum.She has performed surgeries for many people I know with excellent results. I visited a friend the day after surgery after my appointment.,She works for a hospital and needs more admin staff than they provide. She is in extremely high demand for conditions that can be life-threatening and life-altering. Her patients and their families are dealing with incredibly stressful health crises. The combination of these factors can often lead to frustration.
