I actually requested doctor Tucker years ago, but was put with someone else who was building their clientele. It took 5 years, but after he other doctor was transferred to a different department, I started with Dr. Tucker. She is kind, very “human” as opposed to simply a person making documentation. She is personable, kind, and smart. She listens in order to make changes. I was able to come off of and or reduce medication and consider possible positive directions for my life as opposed to feeling hopeless, judged, ashamed, or worthless. I felt I had a job to do. When she retired, she set me up with a doctor who has many of the same characteristics and approaches as herself—someone who did their training under her. I miss Dr. Tucker, and I also appreciated her being within a decade of my age (has “relevance” benefits), but she left me in good hands. Even that says something about a great doctor.
