I was priviliged to have Dr. Kithas as my primary health provider at the Veterans Administration hospital in Salt Lake City for many years. I have often told others that he is the best physician that I have had in my 86 years, including 26 years of military doctors, 14 years of civilian doctors and 30 years of VA medical care. He made it a point of ensuring that I understood everything about my health care, always listened carefully to ensure he understood my concerns, took extra time (even when he was cautioned about taking more time than the government allowed for patient visits) to ensure that I received all referrals to other specialists as I needed, followed up with calls to explain the findings of tests and procedures, and demonstrated that he actually cared about my well being. I would highly recommend him as a primary care physician to elderly patients.
