My mother was admitted to the ICU at Forsyth Memorial in February for sepsis and KDA - thankfully Dr. Keith was the attending physician that week. Her condition was perilous and we didn’t know if she would make it, but Dr. Keith assured me that he would do everything he could for her; he kept his word. She had many pre-existing issues facing her at the time, so he communicated with other departments to find solutions that yielded a positive outcome. She is alive and doing much better today! Dr. Keith was very personable, soothing, compassionate and he explained everything in detail to make sure I understood all facets of my mother’s condition as well as his plan for treatment. I will also say that everyone in the ICU had great things to say about him whenever his name came up, letting me know he also was admired, respected and well-liked among his peers. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Keith and challenge other physicians to be more like him.
