Dr. Montefalco is outstanding!!! I had surgery a while back. Yes, it does take a while to get an appointment - it is worth it! I had a SEVERE case of sleep apnea and needed to have both jaws moved (a Mandibular Osteotomy) to open my airway. (If I did not have surgery - I would be dead today. My blood-oxygen levels were dropping to critical levels while sleeping) The surgery was performed with Dr. Tod Huntley and took all day. Dr. Montefalco will listen to his patients and answer questions. If you are not forthright in opening up a conversation (he is busy) he will move on to his next patient. If you start a conversation - he will take as much time as necessary to make you feel comfortable about the procedures he is going to perform. His follow-up is second to none. I wish all doctors could have the education and experience, along with the compassion he afforded me. I will be forever thankful for what he did for me.
