Dr Pippa Newell took my gallbladder out after an emergency room visit. Two ER Docs informed me that I had just won the lottery by getting Dr Newell as the surgeon. She quickly warned me of the worse case scenarios and potential complications as it was a serious case with renal failure and irregular heart beat-- she courageously persevered after a few reservations to do the surgery. I am so pleased that she operated and I am convinced that she saved my life. (although afterwards she acted as if it was just routine) Meticulous thorough and exacting, I barely had any blemishes left on the four incisions and the surgery appears flawless. Did not even need to prescribe antibiotics and all this through the brunt of the corona virus! The Crew at PHR is simply amazing, and the hospital was immaculate. It was worth crossing state lines to find Doctor Newell. The Gorge is blessed to have the jewell of Newell in town.
