Patient Reviews
Mar 01, 2023
I was one of Dr Thapaliya’s first patients, May 2016. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma & Myelodysplastic Syndrome. My diagnosis was devastating once I understood what I was facing. Dr Thapaliya was kind caring & knowledgeable. His calm demeanor helped me through the rough time of seeing my future. Since my insurance was not signed with SCCA locally, I went to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix Arizona. I had excellent care with a Bone Marrow Transplant. I had thought I would return to Dr Thapaliya after treatment, it didn’t happen. I was pretty ill, then Covid 19. My son moved to San Diego with his career & my daughter was living in the LA area. I choose to stayed in Phoenix to be near my adult children & Mayo Clinic Hospital. I have never return to the PNW. Dr Thapaliya is a wonderful doctor. I couldn’t have been luckier to be his patient. He was the best doctor to have with a complex cancer diagnosis. The next was retired Dr Slack at Mayo, now Dr Palmer. I’ve been very fortunate.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
