I was fortunate to be treated by “Dr K” for routine sleep apnea, as well as for high D-dimer and lung problem detected during an ER visit. In witnessing his practice both with me, my asthmatic wife, and overhearing through the walls his care to more serious lung cancer patients, it is my impression that he is an above-average doctor. He is conscientious…not over-ordering repeat imaging to avoid unnecessary radiation. He explains himself and his rationale for treatment options exceptionally well, empowering his patients with a solid understanding of their condition and choices. He recommended a CPAP mask that works very well for me. He is a very effective communicator with no language barrier, as well as a caring and thoughtful person. My primary told me that pulmonologists spend no time with their patients and don’t explain what they’re doing, but I found the opposite with Dr. K. He is moving out of Orlando and I will miss him. I hope you are as impressed by him as I am.
