I realize that I am writing about an experience that I had with Dr Garlock 43 years ago. I have her to thank for saving my baby during my delivery. I was delivering at Crouse-Irving in 1975. The team was assembled and I guess the dr doing the delivery, it must have been is first time. He froze as he saw the baby in the birth canal. Dr. Garlock was very patient with him, coaching him and repeating over and over for the newbie doctor to turn the baby's head. Like I said she kept repeating it. Calmly, Slowly and then wham !!! She literally shoved him out of the way, took the baby by the head, turned it to the appropriated delivery position. I heard a huge POP, and felt the baby clear the birth canal with such great force. Dr Garlock's quick reflexes, caught my son as he came flying out. He was turning blue, so they vigorously stimulated him to make him breathe and cry. When I finally heard what I wanted to hear, I cried. I honestly thought we had lost him. Thank you Dr
