Dr. Basu is one of the best doctors I have ever met as a patient and as an x-ray tech. After years of treatment for duodenal ulcers by doctors including gastroenterologists / testing/ endoscopies, not revealing any abnormalities, dr. Basu at the first visit diagnosed my celiac disease with then novel bloodwork tests , which was further confirmed by endoscopy & biopsies performed by himself & his intern team in a superior way. Similar way dr. Basu also diagnosed my husband's issue with early dermatomyositis. Despite a long wait in his usually packed up office, he is a great doctor, scholar, and a teacher. Thank you for sharing your tremendous knowledge, skills, dedication, & experience with others, who hopefully will follow in your helping footsteps and not just for the money making that became a motto of our modern medicine! Thanks for following the NON NOCERE Hippocratean principle, which seems to disappear as years go by. We miss you dr. Basu.
