I came to be Dr. Sinha’s patient at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration hospital around 2014 2015, fresh after moving to Arizona, in dire need ptsd treatment. She was one of the best and most empathetic psychiatrist’s I have known. Before I had lived in St. Louis and always had a different psych doctor, so I found it hard to really connect and trust one. So being able to keep her for as long as I did meant I could be vulnerable and trust a psychiatrist finally. I had her for about 5 or 6 years before moving out of state, and I miss seeing her. Her consistency and attentiveness to my steady progress really made a positive mark on my diagnosed ptsd and made me hopeful for the future, even if it meant always having ptsd. I didn’t feel crazy, and I felt heard. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me Dr. Sinha.
