I had been seen in the ER by other physicians 2 times the week prior to collapsing and losing consciousness. This visit I was brought in by ambulance, fearing the worst was about to happen. Dr. Lauber quickly recognized the symptoms of a Pulmonary Embolism and contacted IR for a Thrombectomy removing two massive blood clots from my lungs. I honestly believe I am alive today because of her attention to detail of my chart and accurate diagnosis.
