This was 21 years ago, but the guy is as knowledgeable and capable as any person I've met. He talked me through the procedure, and measured out the exact prosthetic I would need, down to the millimeter. I followed his advice and have kept mostly to beneficial activities, rather than risk damaging my hip. I'm still crossing rivers on logs and squeezing through barbed wire fences, though. Thanks, Doc!
