Patient Reviews

Dr. Safyan is definitely a fantastic oncologist! When you work with her, you'll figure out how professional and accountable she is. She cares patient, monitors patient's symptom, data and progress, tailors each treatment plan to fit into patient's specific context with flexible yet rigorous adjustment and arrangement. Being a doctor, she is also a professor and researcher who's willing to introduce innovative but meaningful solution from medical research to patient's treatment, which proves very effective as I've personally experienced. As a result, with her firm and thoughtful arrangement, I was able to successfully complete my fix-month chemo journey with minimum side effect and a happy and healthy end. So far, after one quarter of my chemo, all my follow up tests show no cancer cell detected anymore. Many thanks to Dr. Safyan for her consistent effort and professional care! She is that kind of doctors who has pursuit and enjoys the success that she accomplished with patients.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
