Fracturing my wrist and not taking care of it properly resulted in a ruptured thumb tendon which needed attention immediately. After our visit that same day, she was able to get me an appointment for an ultrasound the following day to confirm the rupture. Dr Hooper then made time in her very busy scheduled for surgery late in the day the following week. I'm sure this was an inconvenient time for everyone (surgeon and OR staff), but they accommodated none the less. It has now been 3 months and after 8 visits with the OT's I have full use of my thumb. I'm so grateful for Dr. Hooper and her team at the UM hand clinic. Everyone was so kind and professional.
