I had bad foot pain with each step and couldn’t even move my toes. My regular Dr. prescribed nothing and referred me to a rheumatologist for possible psoriatic arthritis. Problem was there was no available appointment for the RHU for 2 months so I decided to visit Dr. Baxamusa in the interim. He was able to get me in immediately and determine that it is actually tendinitis, this would be later confirmed by an MRI he ordered as both flexor and tensor tendinitis. He prescribed a steroid cream and physical therapy where they apply it with an ultrasound machine so it can be better absorbed by tendons-a process called photopheresis. I literally limped in and walked out able to move my toes again after just the first few treatments. Ongoing physical therapy continues to improve my condition dramatically. I'm very grateful for the quick and accurate diagnosis/treatment.
