Four years ago, I was diagnosed and treated for neurological Lyme disease, but have continued to suffer with symptoms. When I was first diagnosed, my family doctor called several times for my previous neurologist to help with my treatment, but it took months before I was seen by him. He actually told me to live my life the best I could and that he did not need to see me again. My husband and I were stunned by his response. It has taken me several years before I was ready to see a new neurologist. Dr. Katara took my symptoms seriously and ordered many tests that my previous neurologist failed to do. I want to thank Dr. Katura for taking an interest in my case.
