Patient Reviews
Aug 27, 2020
I recently had parathyroid surgery at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Al-Aref is the chief surgical resident there. He was part of the surgical team and visited my room 2 or 3 times a day during the post-operative period. He was attentive, clear in his explanations, and helpful in communicating with my endocrinologist at another hospital. He is very kind and was particularly reassuring to this anxious patient.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
