Today is the 31st year as a heart transplant recipient, I was transplanted on October 13, 1990, number 129. Dr. Ratkovec was post transplant physician, both at OHSU and Providence Medical Center Portland, OR, part of the reason I am still alive is due to the care and caring I received from Dr. Ratkovec at both institutions, simply put she Ne Plus Ultra. I will be eternally grateful having the good fortune to have her as my physician. Thanks, Ranae!
