In 2017, my trusted cardiologist of over five years left his practice in California to join the renowned team at the University of Colorado. Panic set in when I received the news through a letter from his office asking where I wanted my medical records sent. With a family history of heart issues, losing my reliable doctor felt like a significant blow. However, fate intervened when a friend in the medical profession suggested to me that the best cardiologist in Orange County, California, was Dr. Raveen Arora. I used her recommendation to contact his office, and now I am incredibly fortunate to have become one of his patients. Over the past seven years, Dr. Arora has been a beacon of medical expertise and a true lifesaver. In 2019, when I mentioned experiencing dizziness, his swift action led to a carotid ultrasound revealing an alarming 85% blockage in my left carotid artery. Dr. Arora wasted no time arranging consultations with a couple of Vascular Surgeons, who confirmed the urgency of surgery. The surgery was a resounding success thanks to Dr. Arora's decisive intervention, sparing me from a potentially devastating outcome. Dr. Arora is a rarity in the medical field -- a consummate professional with a heart of gold. His dedication to his patients goes above and beyond, earning him my unwavering trust and respect. When I experienced a frightening episode in January 2022, with slurred speech and confusion resembling a stroke, Dr. Arora's swift response was nothing short of heroic. He met us at the hospital, overseeing tests, including a CAT scan, EKG, and blood work. Together with the emergency team, he diagnosed a transient ischemic attack (TIA) and explored every avenue, including ruling out COVID-19 as a potential trigger. Dr. Arora's commitment to holistic care extends beyond medical expertise and is infused with compassion. During office visits, he doesn't rush through appointments but takes the time to address my concerns and ensure I feel heard and understood. His availability round the clock is a testament to his dedication, offering reassurance and peace of mind even in the darkest hours. I must also commend Dr. Arora's exceptional staff, whose professionalism and warmth complement his own. From the moment I stepped into his office, I was greeted with the comforting certainty that my health was in the most capable hands.
