Dr. Baez has been my PCP for over 30 years. I trust him with my life; he has saved me several times over the years. The last time was with my knee in January 2024; I had a total knee replacement (TKR) on Dec. 2022 and I had gone back to the original surgeon several times and they told me, I was fine. I knew, I wasn't and Dr. Baez didn't think my knee was fine either. He personally called the surgeon and told him to do a culture on my knee. It came back that I did have two bacterial infections in my knee. Dr. Baez was so worried about me; he found me an infectious disease doctor to go see and told me how serious this was; I could have gone sepsis and died or lost my leg. Dr. Baez coordinated my care and found me an excellent surgeon to go to at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Dr. Cody C. Green; he ended up removing my TKR in Feb. 2024 and putting a spacer joint in for 4 months. Then after that my last surgery was June 2024 when I had my new TKR installed.
