As a healthcare employee, I can be a very non complaint patient and will put off treatments. I developed some severe pain in my left foot at the toe joint and then developed neuritis and tendonitis due to gait changes. i had normal xrays at PCP office and they found nothing. Dr Abdo wanted additional xrays with weight bearing and found an anomaly in my joint. On this first visit he offered me a cortisone injection for immediate relief. Most other physicians would have made me schedule that injection on a separate visit. I was so happy to get relief that day. He listened to my concerns of physical limitations, and we came up with a plan of care that worked for my lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr Abdo as a physician.
