Patient Reviews
Oct 21, 2023
I have a rare cancer ~Neuroendocrine. If caught early, very treatable. Unfortunately, it’s not a well-known cancer; yet, more research, and diagnosis of individuals, is occurring. Dr. Lobins, Denise Moore (NP), the nurses, phlebotomists, and front desk staff have been crucial in my continued care. Not only has he been “spot on” in current research and treatment, he has encouraged me through my journey of being accepted by the National Cancer Institute to have surgery. One hopes to never lose health care if it’s decided to seek specialists. A teamwork approach is what you pray and hope. I’ve been given an opportunity to have a “reset” with the removal of my pancreatic tumor, spleen, lymph nodes, and liver tumors. I’ll return to Dr. Lobins in December to follow up and continue care as the cancer mets to the bones cannot be eradicated. One area surgeon and Dr has never contacted me since sharing of my blessing in being accepted! This surgeon helped to save my own Dad’s life with a Whipple

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
