Dr. Lam recently treated a family member at CPMC. As an advocate for the patient I was frustrated at the lack of information I had available. Dr. Lam called after getting the patient's permission and listened to my concerns and addressed all of them with definitions and explanations about the issues. He also gave credit to a colleague for a good call that was made. He took his time and sometimes had to repeat until I could get a thorough understanding. I am very grateful for his time and effort.
