I had ankle surgery for a Trimalleolar Fracture at St. Joesph's a year ago in May of 2023. I have thought about my experience with Dr. Sykola since that time. Dr Sykola was the anesthesiologist assigned my case. I found him to have an excellent over all bed-side manner. The questions he asked me about my previous experiences with anesthesia were spot on. He not only listened but, he heard me. He gave me a nerve block that lasted about 24 hours, and whatever he did so I would not have nausea and vomting afterwards worked. I had explained to him that I was very sick after a major surgery in prior years. It was an excellent experience! Any patient that has this doctor to put them to sleep is very lucky indeed. Excellent Experience!
